Just how many HDMI cables do I need and what goes to what? Specifics please. ?
I’m guessing 3 or 4 but not sure? Components included in the hookup are:
Sony XBR 6 52” LCD HDTV
Sony BDP S-550 BluRay Player
Sony CD/Dvd Player (DVP-NC800H) w/HDMI output, 1080p upscaling
Sony DVD/VCR Combo Player (SLV-D380P)
Comcast Cable HDTV Box/Converter
Audio = Polk Audio RM705 Home Theater System
Receiver = Onkyo 606B
So, what goes where and how many?
You need 4 HDMI cables. Connect 3 HDMIs from Blu-ray player, DVD player and cable box to receiver. The last HDMI output from receiver to TV for video. Your Onkyo 606 supports audio via HDMI, so you don’t need optical cables.
